Laurens is located in northwestern South Carolina, just south of Greenville and north of Columbia.

It is the county seat of Laurens County. Both Laurens and Laurens County are named after Henry Laurens of Charleston, who was president of the Continental Congress during the Revolutionary War.

This is a wonderful town to raise children and enjoy life. The house prices are reasonable and taxes are low. If you are looking for a historic house at an affordable price that needs a little TLC, this is the town for you!
