Historic Annapolis works to protect and promote Annapolis as a viable, living city that celebrates its heritage.

 

Since 1952 Historic Annapolis has preserved the distinctive character of Maryland's capital city through public advocacy and guidelines, purchase and renovation, original research, and educational programs. The Foundation manages historic Annapolis properties including the St. Clair Wright Center, William Paca House and Garden, Shiplap House, Museum Store, Waterfront Warehouse, and Hogshead at 43 Pinkney Street.

 

The mission of Historic Annapolis is to champion historic preservation in Annapolis as a means to interpret the past, appreciate the present, and shape the future.
