I am an amateur photographer located in Wichita Kansas. I enjoy taking shots of Kansas and Wichita. I love taking shots of historical buildings especially the ones on the National Register of Historic Places.

I have also written several books on Wichita and Kansas history they include:

"From the Land of Andalusia to the Wheat Fields of Kansas: A History of Wichita's Historic Orpheum Theatre" and I co-wrote "Kansas: In The Heart of Tornado Alley". I am currently working on a book on the history of Botanica, The Wichita Gardens and also a book on the history of Wichita from 1930-2000.

All your photos are wonderful -- excellent! And I would just like to repeat here my comments on a couple of them: Regarding Tulips: Tulips in the Beverly R. Blue Teaching Garden at Botanica, The Wichita Gardens: Beautiful! In my opinion, the best of all your wonderous photos of tulips. And regarding The Mills Building: Mills Building at 901 Kansas Avenue in Topeka Kansas. Wonderful photo of what used to be the Pelletier's Building (or at least housed the fine department store). I remember going to Pelletier's with Mother when I was a child, watching the snow fall and hearing the Salvation Army bells from behind the glass doors they had at that time (the 1950's). I lived in Topeka from the time I was born until I was 10 years old. Since then I have lived in California, Florida, and Alabama, where I live now. How about doing a book on the history of Topeka?
