My name is Aeryn, I'm 22, and big with the whole dolls, paintbrushes, and camera thing.

I currently use a Canon 5Dmk2 and my 100mm 2.8 macro and mycheap/trusty 50mm f/1.8

I love to edit, I really enjoy playing around with my images. At the same time, I like to make it look like I haven't touched them.

I'm a bit the same with the rest of my life. I like to do things myself, but I like to make it look effortless, which certainly doesn't make it effortless. I love collecting and customising dolls, and it all gets documented in photos.

I collect Ball Jointed Dolls (BJDS) and Monster High, and I customise both when I have the chance, selling my Monster High repaints on etsy.

Aside from those, I have a lovely partner, Chris, who I love more than any of the above mentioned, and whom I photograph less than any of the above mentioned. I have a pet conure, Sully, two dogs, Kalley and Skip, and a brother, Jack, who is engaged to a wonderful woman, Lauren. I live with my parents and every single above mentioned person, animal and thing. It's very crowded but we're a close family.

I love dolls (OMG), photography (OMG!!), piercings, tattoos, hair (everything about it), and all sorts of things I like to forget about until I remember them again.

I started painting dolls in 2008 after I couldn't afford to send my BJDs away to faceup artists. I stopped in 2010, and after buying my first MH girl, a Goulia Yelps, in late 2011, I did my first repaint. I was totally hooked, and within 3 months had a collection of at least one or two of each character, one repaint and one custom. These days I sell most of my customs, as I like to buy all sorts of new things and just don't have the room for them! You can find them linked on the side :)

I have fibromyalgia and am often bed bound and sometimes even being on the computer is too much, so please don't feel bad if I don't answer messages or anything like that immediately. I also usually add anyone who has the same sort of photographic/artistic interests as me, or you know, anyone who adds me XD
