Peter 'Hilton Pete' Hendry - 13/10/1942 - 07/08/2025

One of the genuine good guys, he leaves this world a much better place for having been here.

Much loved and respected, we celebrate his life and fondly remember his keen sense of humour and wit, dedication to family, passion for nature and its photography (his legacy).

Peter’s ashes were laid to rest at Heritage Wood on 26th October 2025. With a silver birch memorial tree and picnic bench for visitors, he is surrounded by the nature he loved.

With a robin watching over him, Peter's tree plaque remembers him as 'Always in our hearts and thoughts', with his bench inviting all to 'Sit awhile and enjoy nature with Peter'.
