A public library in Hillsboro, Oregon. Established in 1914 as an Carnegie Library, the Hillsboro Library moved from the old downtown site to the Shute Park building in 1975. In 1990, the Tanasbourne Library - a community library first established in 1976 by a private, nonprofit Friends group - joined the Library, and quickly grew into the larger, busier Main branch. In May of 2007, Tanasbourne moved operations to the new Main Library site featured in our photostream.
