I'm a 31-year old male who recently got his first proper SLR camera (Nikon D-90) and is taking his first steps (read: learning and discovering the very basics, quite often the hard way) in the wondrous world of photography.

I'm mainly interested taking photoes and playing tricks on them in Aperture, less so in creating illusions in PhotoShop.
