Hi, this is Michelle. I set up this account to commemorate the purchase of my first SLR (25/3/2009). :) As you can tell, I'm new at this, but I'm still learning and someday I hope to be able to make a smile, evoke some memories, and show some of what I feel at the moment just as much as when I look at all the lovely photos that everyone else has on Flickr.

My opinion on photography?

I'm fascinated, really. I think photos open up a new perspective of beauty that we, being used to the world, may sometimes take for granted. But a lens can never replace the wonder of the human eye - and being a photographer, I get reminded of that every day.

Cameras merely teach you to see things more clearly with the human eye.
