Highway67 originated in 2005 and was the brainchild of one David Sally and Jim Humston (lead singer with the “Brewhouse Blues Band”). The website was set up with a view to reaching out to the average music fan in Dundalk and surrounding areas. It gives them a chance to air their views, listen to and comment on the local musicians and bands that we have to offer.

After the site closed down, we felt that nothing else was as easily accessed as the medium that is the internet, so with a new line up on the page, and once again with David Sally’s enthusiasm, we have risen Highway67 from the basement and put it firmly on centre stage. Dundalk is a town that is rich with musical talent, but for one reason or another, that potential is not being reached by a wide enough audience. So we as massive music fans hope to change all this by delivering a site that is not just the average “local gigs” website, but something that instead will give local artists a chance to show you what they can do, given the correct platform.

All that is required is…….you!!!! You are the engine for this site. Fans from all musical backgrounds are welcome here, there will be something for everyone, and if you cant find what you’re looking for, drop us a comment and we will sort it out. We’ve got a gig guide, a multimedia section, info on up and coming bands and even a review section for the aspiring journalists out there.
