Thank you for visiting HighResArt.com! HighResArt was developed in Spring of 2011 as a name to represent my art.

Hi! My name is Colleen and I have been a member of the art scene for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in Charleston SC, a beautiful coastal city and arts hub, particularly for the annual Spoleto Festival. My environment and the arts education I received from elementary, middle and high school as well as from The College of Charleston cultivated my creativity and inspired me to share my art with the world. Today I am living in NYC and I’m eager to share my work with you!

My first resin leaf, and jump-start to my resin portfolio, was made as a gift for a good friend. I thought it would be fun to make “ink” out of cannabis resin scraped from a glass pipe. This proved to be a very challenging medium to work with and enticed me to continue developing my “resin art” technique. Since that first leaf I have invented ways to create different textures and hues from the resin. It is still a learning process.

My other work includes ribbon on canvas, pencil and ink drawings as well as cannabis inspired cartoons. Thank you for showing an interest in my work!
