At the High Atlas Foundation, we are working toward a future where every Moroccan community enjoys structural social, environmental, and economic well-being. To reach our goals, we equip Moroccan communities to become self-sustaining through income from fruit tree agriculture and carbon offset revenue — while preserving and celebrating aspects of cultural heritage across generations.

At the invitation of the communities we serve, we lead community-driven agriculture, women’s empowerment, clean water, and cultural dialogue and preservation programs. Our projects start with a community IMAGINE workshop that encourages and equips women to expand their confidence and self-agency while identifying personal goals and priorities.

Our most widely-recognized projects integrate agriculture with irrigation, clean water, sanitation, and education. They result in communities with dependable food and income sources, green job opportunities for rural women and youth, and a pathway to the voluntary carbon market that merges ecological and social solutions in a financially viable, sustainable way.

We believe that bringing people together to create lasting solutions is the key to prosperity for Morocco, the MENA region, and the world.
