Born in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. My graduate education was started at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam in the field of Design and Manufacturing, and then my post-graduate studies included the following ones: HUT with Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven-KULeuven (Belgium) with Master of Biomedical Engineering and Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand) with both Master and Doctor of Engineering in Industrial Systems Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering. Currently I am a Senior Lecturer at University of Greenwich, UK.

Before working for University of Greenwich, I was a project manager at Manufacturing Engineering Centre, Cardiff University, Wales, United Kingdom from 2003-2010, and a lecturer at HUST, from 1998-2003.
