HIEROGLYPHICS OF ANGELS
Flowers have spoken to me more than I can tell in written words. They are the hieroglyphics of angels, loved by all men for the beauty of the character, though few can decypher even fragments of their meaning.

Or, to put it another way, "Our ability to perceive quality in nature begins, as in art, with the pretty. It expands through successive stages of the beautiful to values as yet uncaptured by language" (Aldo Leopold).
These ideas express my vision better than anything I might come up with. I hope my photos, as I post them, will provide you with a reason to look more carefully at the world around us. I know from reviewing the photostreams of my contacts that many of you share my sense of wonder.
