Welcome to my flickr page. I am not claiming any artistic ability here. I just take pictures. I hope you enjoy looking at what I shoot.

My cameras are:

Two old Pentax K-1000 SLR's, a Sony - DCR-TRV350 which is actually a camcorder, but it also takes stills (not the greatest stills… but it works) a Kodak Easy Share M873 which is a tiny little point and shoot digital, and my favorite camera, a Canon Rebel XTi DSLR.

So if you are reading this I guess that means you want to know more about me. I am 42. I am a lawyer. i spent 10 years as a prosecutor. (Basically it is sort of like Law & Order only with a lot more cases everyday and with out all the dramatic story lines.) Now I am a college professor. Its a nice break from all the hours I used to work.

I was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia which is where I still live. Norfolk is the home of the world largest Navy base and is located directly next to Virginia Beach, Virginia a huge tourist destination. I am an alumni of Lake Taylor High School, Old Dominion University, and Regent University School of Law. I was a congressional aide to a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1994 – 2001. I was a prosecutor from 2001-2010, and I've been teaching ever since. I collect wine and I enjoy classic cars. I play golf when I can, but I don’t claim to be very good at it. I almost always have a camera with me; even it is only my little Kodak point and shoot. The problem is that even though I have the camera, I don’t always think to take the picture. I am trying to work on that.

I am not much to look at. My hair is thinning and mostly gray and I am a bit on the chubby side, but such as it is. So take a look around. Shoot me a flickrmail if you want. I am a big guy and I have seen a lot of things in my life, but if you are into like weird freaky porn or stuff like that please do not make me your contact. Whatever gets you through the night is fine for you, but I don’t really want to see it.

I am an East Little Creek Road / Ocean View guy from birth, so if I have a lot of Norfolk pics, its just where I am from. I make contacts with a lot of local photogs, so if you are in Hampton Roads, I've probably made you a contact because I like to see local stuff.
