Bonjour!

Hibou ("eeboo") means Owl in French. My son Jack loved owls as a child, which is why I decided to name my shop "HibouDesigns". His world and imagination has often been a source of inspiration for me, as well as my background in Art history and love for everything art and design related.

I am a French native who has now lived in the US for over 20 years and happily making people smile, one stitch at a time.

My designs are whimsical, colorful, sometimes cheeky. I hand sew and embroider all my creations with great attention to details. I make embroidery wall art, plush art and toys and I am now also turning some of my illustration work into semi-mass produced items such as socks, enamel pins, keychains, as well as paper goods such as greeting cards.
