Grew up in Nova Scotia, lived in Toronto (17 years), Calgary (15 years) and am now happily settled in Victoria, British Columbia where it never snows (well, hardly ever). After working full and part time at the newish Mountain Equipment Coop store here in Victoria for several years, I now find myself deliberately unemployed.

Past careers have included personnel administrator with Indian and Northern Affairs and classical music producer with CBC Radio.
