I am a photo hobbiest. That means that I love to look at photos as much as I like to take them.

I joined Flickr in December 2007 after I fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally got a digital camera. I have always loved photography and have shot a lot of film, but I am taking a little bit of time to catch on with the new tech aspects of my camera. The learning curve is very high and I am now just trying to find the time and proper lighting to shoot. I am more of a landscape lover but I think with the bad weather here in Oregon, I might havet to dabble in some indoor shooting.

I shoot with a Cannon Rebel Xti and Cannon 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses. The lenses are kit quality but hopefully when my income taxes come I can get some better lenses.

Haven't mastered Photoshop yet either and so I can only get better with time. I went away from photography for a while but I am back and with a serious addictive level.

Yes, I have been a Webshots member since 97 and have been looking at photos for years, but I just loooooooooooove this website. Sorry Webshots. I am a new convert.
