Hello all. I am a hobby photographer from Germany. In 2005 I switched from analog photography to digital photography. Since then I have been shooting with various Canon DSLRs. My favorite subjects are landscape/nature shots and especially black & white photos with a focus on cities, art & architecture, bridges and railroads. I like the atmosphere in cafés, so I also enjoy taking photos there. Each year I try to progress and take better photos. I take my pictures in RAW format and edit them afterwards.

I am convinced that less is more. That's why I only upload a selection of my photos that I think are pretty good and want to show on flickr. All photos are organized in albums by subject. I am also present on Instagram with my black-and-white photos, www.instagram.com/herbertplagge/
