I first became interested in photography as a teenager and it became my favourite hobby and a major interest. In fact I went on to study full-time but that fizzled out. Made a comeback into it in 1994 after gear stole in 1986 (?) and after digital revolution found it much more to do and have gradually improved. My other interests are great outdoors (I would like to do more hiking but have slight health problem) , modern fiction and cinema (also some theatre of late). I am a believer of environmental awareness and feel that we should make an effort to conserve the ecology of the world rather than destroy it.

I love browsing through the Flickr 'trending' pages and other people's photostreams - I never tire of looking at good quality photography and I am sure it is seriously underrated. Also I like to get out to visit the photography galleries that have some great exhibitions by the world's most celebrated photographers on most of the time (I am fortunate living in London to have such a good choice) and of course when I get the opportunity to visit Paris and Berlin; that is just about my raison d'etre these days.
