I am constantly amazed by Henry’s photos. It may not be readily apparent, but perhaps more than any other photographer on Flickr, Henry has strongly influenced my own work. He has an unbelievable eye for composition and knows how to treat his photos in such a way as to literally pull the viewers eyes through them. When I see his photos, I not only see a wonderful image, but I also learn something new or see something in a different way than before. I am very grateful to have Henry as a contact.

In essence, all we photographers have to work with is light. We buy all kinds of apparatus and gadgets to help us manipulate the light, but it really boils down quite simply to the photographer and light. Henry is a true master of light: all intensities, colours, shapes, and flavours. Anyone who wishes a nearly classroom or textbook lesson in using light has only to browse thoughtfully through Henry’s Photostream. It is all there, and it is well worth the effort, as well as being a great pleasure and a visual treat.

Look at this photo stream...it's full of beautiful images! polished, dramatic, and intriguing are but a few words that come to mind when I think about Henry's work. AND...he's a great guy and an active and helpful member of the local photographic community. Coming to know people like Henry makes me realize that the hundreds (and hundreds) of hours I've spent on Flickr are well worth it LOL! Seriously, top shelf photographs, very nice person. 'Nuff said.
