I began in 1983 with specialization in photography at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. My work is typified by a process in which action and dynamics play a major role.

On many of my photographs we see people moving, no glamor, with emphasis on the purity of the action and the emotions and facial expressions associated thereto.
