I have been photographing for over 55 years. My preference is for nature such as landscapes, plants and animals, but sometimes also cityscapes.

I myself was once trained as a landscape gardener with a special interest in garden design.

I see designing gardens as creating an illusion where a person feels happy in a busy city, in the countryside or in nature.

By extension I do the same with photography because what is just outside the reach of the lens can be very contrasting with the photographed subject of my interest.

Recently I supplement the making of illusions with photo editing in Photoshop and that gives me a lot of pleasure.

And as you can see I love dogs, especially my own of course!
