Street photographer, with mainly public transport as subject. Started modestly in the mid sixties in Amsterdam and other Europe. Feel privileged to have been able to record the last pre war trams in quite a few European cities and the last steamtrains in service in Germany and other European countries. There is no single moment exactly the same in life, and each and every photo cannot be repeated or accurately re-enacted and there in lies the value of moments of life as recorded by the undersigned.

The traditional, classic vehicle photo is the sunny 3/4 shot, a position hard to get away from to show a vehicle in it's fullest glory. However, I have tried to include street life and other scenery, and as such I perceive the majority of my photo's a little less 'standard' conventional and compliant.

There are also photo's made by third parties where I hold the original negative/slide. These came in my possession due to swaps and purchase. Where possible the original photographer is acknowledged.

Emigrated to Adelaide, Australia is 1977 and blown away to the H-class trams still in service in the 21rst century.

Will be happy to release photos for non commercial use, when interested please contact me, as the photo's on Flickr may have annoying watermarks and photoshopped non authentic changes for later ID of 'shared' photo's. Over time I also captured 'street life'. These photo's are without prejudice and merely reflect 'Da street' as I encounter it.

As my photo's are made in public places you may come across a photo seeing yourself. Should this in any way cause discomfort let me know and I will remove the photo.
