Dr. Drew Hemment is an artist, curator and researcher based in Manchester. He is Director and founder of the award winning FutureEverything Festival, Conference and Awards (formerly Futuresonic), and is Associate Director of ImaginationLancaster at Lancaster University rated among the top UK universities for research in art and design. He was instrumental in the emergence of the field of Locative Media, and current projects include Environment 2.0 and openData Cities. Awarded an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2008 and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (UK).
