A Hemeroteca Digital, sítio da Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa (HML), tem como objetivo a construção duma biblioteca digital de jornais e revistas.

Com este projeto pretende-se criar um sítio de referência para a consulta em linha e difusão pública do universo da imprensa periódica portuguesa.

Disponibilizamos, assim, através da Internet, em formato HTML e PDF, diversos títulos de publicações periódicas do nosso acervo histórico, (de momento, dispomos de cerca de 210 publicações on line).

A Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa (HML), dispõe de um acervo histórico de publicações periódicas (revistas e jornais) superior a 20.000 títulos.

A mais antiga, data do século XVIII, nomeadamente a “Gazeta de Lisboa” de 1715.
