My Flickr account is mainly to provide a platform for my railway photos which stretch back to the 1960s. My early photos were taken on cheap cameras and the quality is not very good. I have thousands of photos mainly of which were taken for the record as opposed to having much artistic content. It is this reason I have included some of dubious quality as they record the railway at the time.

Some early photos were too poor to upload, but with modern software many of these can now be restored to a level that you can at least see what the subject is. I have now started to restore and upload these. Again, not great quality but a record of the railway at that time.

I have now uploaded photos of naval ships in the UK, taken mainly in the 1970s and 1980s, but also some more modern images.
