I'm a photography enthusiast from Berlin.

My photography journey started 25 years ago when my dad bought a Minolta SLR and I took pictures on our holidays. For Christmas 2005 I gifted myself a Canon 350D which stayed with me for 10 years.

I shoot a lot of pictures when I travel as do many amateur photographers. But I've always been interested in developing my photography in a more structured way. In 2013 I started (but dit not finish) a 365 project. I tried again in 2014 and this time finished successfully. But finishing this project felt like a chore and for a long time I abandoned the camera, taking it only with me on holidays. I stopped uploading almost completely and only took pictures for myself.

Recently, I rediscovered the joy that photography brings me. Consciously planing, taking, and editing a picture is almost a meditative experience. Whether it's a tabletop still life or a sunset. It's my favorite way to spent my time.
