As a humanitarian worker, I’m part of a wide variety of developmental programs. I’ve committed my life to assisting the Iraqis in the reconstruction of their country. Help-4 are the Projects in which me, my family and my team are involved.

Heber Vega is a humanitarian worker and photographer.

Originally from Chile, Heber has been based in northern Iraq since 2003, the year that Iraq was invaded. As an NGO worker, he’s been part of a wide variety of developmental programs and has an excellent understanding of humanitarian work. He has committed his life to assisting the Iraqis in the reconstruction of their country. Heber and his family have adopted the Middle Eastern culture as their own, including speaking the local language. This opens the door for new opportunities with the nationals; an advantage in his photographic work. His main photographic fields are NGO/Humanitarian and Cultural photography.

About his Ethos

Heber has blended his passions, photography and helping others, to create images that can inspire you, move you, and bring you closer to the subject and its needs. The word photography means drawing with light, but Heber believes that photography can be used to share light as well.
