Helmuth´s style is always with a certain elegant touch! His landscapes are wide with lots of space, like those lonely Trees surrounded by an inmense sky. He is very talented and finds shapes and forms very inviting to the eye, I enjoy the fact that his photography invites me to imagine the continuation... I never get bored cause there is always something new comming up with his next photo. I think he likes to challenge himself by seeing things from different angles,light and experiment. The persons in his portraits tells a story and very beautifully included in atmospheres. A very skilled artist and I enjoy his work very much! I feel really lucky to have discovered Helmuth and his photostream on Flickr. Writing a Testimonial for him is something I've wanted to do for a long time ... but I knew that to be worthy of this stream, (to be worthy of this person) the Testimonial has to be considered in every detail, just like his photographs. I think Helmuth has been around in my universe for around 6 months now and I've seen that every photo ... no, every image, every 'tableau' is thought about, composed, framed and positioned with the care and attention of an artist.... the lighting has to be right, the angle exact, the composition (the story?) really determined and the depth of field carefully considered before making that definitive final movement of releasing the button. Why do I feel lucky? As well as learning from his stream, I can say that Helmuth is a deeply thoughtful and loyal contact whose comments I always look forward to reading. Danke Dir Helmuth!
