Always loved taking photographs since I was very young and got a Kodak instamatic, Moved through various phases but never quite managed to learn to do it properly.

Since digital came along and you could see what you were doing wrong immediately I haven't looked back. Still rubbish but learning every day and loving it.

I go to Carnkie Camera club where I have learnt loads in the last year and am pleased to say I can see the results.

I think most important thing I have learned is not to be lazy. I think about my photography now all the time, even when I don't have a camera in my hand and take a lot less bad snaps.

Absolutely love Flickr ,great community and a huge source of inspiration.

In 2011 I saved like mad and bought a Canon 7D, it is an absolute joy and I wouldn't swap it for anything.
