i am very much a film photographer at heart, and much of my earlier work here is film. but alas; my Pentax K1000 has been dying a slow death for quite some time, and is in hiding.

i care much more about the content and composition of a shot (both mine and yours), than what sort of a camera one might have.

NOTE: please contact me first, if you feel tempted to use any of my photos on your blog, website or publicly (this includes *tumblr* and Pinterest!...), in any way! I just may let you, if you grant me the respect of an email in regards to how you'd like to use the photo. Thank you!

also, I really dislike those twinkly, sparkly, animated, large, colorful comment-things. Please refrain from posting those in my comment sections. I don't want to delete any comments, but if faced with said twinkly things, I might have to.

finally, i once went by "Chilene" on flickr, just to clear up any confusion. don't even ask.

Chilene is a wonderful photographer with a keen sense of her surroundings and how they fit into helping her realise her creative possibilities. Moreover she has the ability to count to infinity in 6 seconds. :) If I were a camera or a cameraphone and had cognitive recognition as to understand who was taking pictures with me then I would be very proud to be a camera / cameraphone that chilene used.

Knowing that Chilene does her photography for a living is very comforting for me. It gives me that hope that I won’t be stuck behind a desk all my life. Her perspective of Chicago is very interesting and beautiful. Keep on rockin’ the K1000!
