We are a group of woodworkers in the Helena, Montana area. Some of us are professionals and make our living working with wood. Others of us are hobby woodworkers. We all enjoy playing and working with wood, making custom furniture, cabinetry, toys, and just about anything you can imagine that can be made of wood.

In our group there are all skill levels, from beginners to wood artisans who have been at it for over 30 years. We gather at a monthly meeting, in our different workshops, to share our skills, knowledge and enthusiasm with each other.

We have an annual exhibit of our member's best work in December. We also have a website (in progress) and will post the URL when it's presentable (ahem!)

Our flickr photostream will feature photos for our website, our blog (Sawdust and Shavings) and albums for each guild member as the photos are available.

So please check back often. We hope to add new photos of our woodwork, our shops, tools and monthly meetings and fun gatherings. We hope to develop a community of wood artists and woodworkers as well as just folks who love beautiful, handcrafted wood items. Let us know what you think - we would like to get some dialogue going.
