Happily quite average, "way" OVER 18 years old (38 years old to be exact), a bit too heady, a naturalist, a sustainable farmer, a crazy environmental epidemiologist/medical anthropologist, dig solitude, enjoy contemplative existence, practice mindfulness, texture fanatic, etc. I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination--so the pictures here are merely a glimpse into my everyday life.

I've worked and lived all over the world and continue to be present in a number of places, but now I call the Midwest mainly home for work reasons--at least for the academic year. But California (SFO), Hawaii (the Hamakua Coast), Vermont, and the Netherlands (Noord Holland in the Wieringermeer) are home too, even if it is only part time. Shuttling around is challenging but the passions are all real. Perhaps as I get older, I will stay put in one place, but perhaps not...

Fantastically and exuberantly taken for many years to a wacky but hot Dutch bloke but open to the physicalities and friendships of others...
