Heegyum is a Package and Graphic designer currently living in New York City. She loves small details in life that inspires her very much. She wants to do design that makes people feel warm and cozy. Her design career began after completing studying in Ewha Women’s University of Fine Arts majored in Visual Information Design in Seoul, Korea.

After two years of working as a graphic designer, she went to Beijing, China. She studied Mandarin for about one and half a year, and worked as a package and graphic designer in a cosmetics company. After three years of working, she wanted to pursuit deeper understanding in both package and graphic design, jumped on the flight to NYC.

Now she is in her second year of MS Package Design program in Pratt Institute. During this period, she found her enthusiasm in typography, practiced and experimented layout design, developed and improved her illustration style. It was so much valuable time for her. And she will keep working hard.
