Hedström is a true photographer in heart and soul. Life is beautiful looking at his rustic, intense glimpses of real life. Documentary reporter taking the esscense of human nature, I feel that he is like a Steinbeck..but in images. The love he feels for people are incredible contaggious. Landscapes and nature are so beautifuul and poetic. He has this sublime sense of humour that always makes me feel good. you can capture it in the daily seconds of his art. The working heroes are so uplifting and well expressed. I love his work, they are true and very inspiring. Thank you for sharing and being such a good friend, All the best in your way! Hedstrom's work is an excellent example of the power and beauty that documentary photography provides. If you look at his photos closely, you realize that through documenting the human experience Hedstrom's work gives us a glimpse into the lives of people who do not utilize modern technology but rely, instead, on the skill and knowledge of their trade ... a worldview that, for many, is vanishing. I am a great admirer of Hedstrom's work and always look forward to viewing his newest uploads. I firmly believe that what he is doing reflects not only his eye for detail and his skills with the camera, but also the importance of the way of living-- and those who live it-- that he is preserving through his photography.
