My love affair with photography first started in the mid 90's when I studied it as part of an Art and Design foundation and Graphic and Media Design degree. We've had and on/off relationship for a years since.

Just a few years ago I really started to get the photography bug again. I bought myself a D700 - which I love - and promised myself that I'd dedicate more time to creative pursuits.

I try to get out and about at least once a week if I can, often with my aunt who is also a keen amateur. I take pictures of things and people that I find beautiful or interesting. I don't think I gravitate to any particular subject and I'm still working on developing a photography style.

Flickr is such an inspiring space; there are so many talented photographers with fascinating, intriguing, and exciting photos. I love viewing and commenting on other people's work, and encourage comments, feedback and constructive criticism on my own work.

I've been away for a while after a tough few months, but I'M BAAAACK!
