When I first came cross Joakim's photstream there were just 20 photos or so here but rarely do I get so impressed. Joakim is sooo talented! Would like to see him flourish as a photgrapher in the future: his sensitivity to shape, colour, light, composition as well as his techinique are impressive for such a young person… Read more

As I write this, Joakim's photostream spans just two pages, but I cannot remember a time I have been more impressed with a set of photos. To imagine that that this has been achieved with an almost 1st-gen entry level SLR and basic lenses is absolutely mindblowing and proves that creativity and quality comes from the photographer, not the gear, in a way that I have not seen demonstrated before.
