I have been fascinated from photography since I was 13 years old in 1962. Since then I've trained my photographer scills from many books, by daily training and in amateur groups. I started with my fathers Rolleicord (6x6) and after that used different Nikon SLR plus Mamiya 645 and Hasselblad 503. Today I'm totally happy with the high-end digital cameras Nikon D750 and D5500. Lenses from 12mm to 1.000mm plus macro equipment have opened the full range of photographers dreams to me. Last but not least I benefit from seeing immediately the results of my shooting and I can do all "labo-work" with my PC and a fine Art printer - no chemical stuff needed any longer. Wow!!

I would like to write a few words about he_boden’s photography. Since he is my father and taught me so much of what I know and feel about photography I am probably biased. However, I am really impressed by the diversity of motives and techniques he displays. But it is not just his 40 years of practice that I revel. Even more it is the joy and love to his motives I see and feel in his photography that amazes and delights me every time I visit his gallery. It is not just pictures, it is his profound knowledge and understanding he shares with whoever is willing to watch. I certainly am.
