Drawing and horses were my great escapes as a youngster. I attended art college in York and Sunderland, UK. Then I left art college and ran away to sea. The Royal Navy taught me to be a graphic designer! Then I left the Navy and ran a print business in England for a bit.

But now I'm doing what I've always dreamed of - illustrating and writing children's books.

Originally I'm from Scarborough in Yorkshire, UK. I came to America in 2000 and I live and work in Maine USA where my hubby and me built a house. I still miss fish and chips and mushy peas, but I'm learning to love lobster. I have 2 dogs, 2 horses, a cat and several snow shovels.
