I'm from Sheffield but work around the Yorkshire and Midlands areas. Like to travel, especially Scotland and Switzerland, but also visited France, Italy, Pyrenees, Canadian Rockies and a few other places in Europe.

Enjoyed photography since I was a child, starting with an SLR when I was 10 years old - A Cosina CT1G, but lost touch until I bought a digital Fuji camera in 2001, I've gradually progressed through two more advanced models before buying a DSLR in August 2008, a Canon EOS 450D, then a Canon 6D in December 2012 - Lens wise, I'm mostly shooting with a 16-35mm f2.8 II, 24-70mm f2.8 II, 135mm f2.0 but also have a 50mm f1.4, 70-300m IS, a Lensbaby and a collection of gadgets to go with it ! I also shoot with a EOS-M and a 22mm f2.0 pancake lens.

I'm still mostly about the composition, textures and ad-hoc portraits, but also enjoy playing with long exposures, macro and the Lensbaby when I've the time
