Siz bir şey görüyorsunuz, vizörden bakıyorsunuz ve gördüğünüz şeyi size hissettirdiği biçimde bir karede donduruyorsunuz . Bunu diğer insanların paylaşımına sunuyorsunuz. Yani o güzellik sadece sizin bakışlarınızda veya beyninizde kalmış olmuyor.

Eskiden gezdiğim yerlerin fotoğraflarını çekmekti yaptığım. Oysa şimdi fotoğraf çekmek için geziyorum.

En çok hayatın içine odaklı fotoğraflardan hoşlanıyorum.

Fotoğraf sayesinde pek çok dostluklar kurdum ve farklı düşünce biçimleri ile tanıştım. Hayatın fark edemediğim detaylarını gördüm, keyif aldım. Bazen insan gündelik telaşelerini bir kenara bırakıp “mola” demek istiyor. İşte fotoğraf benim için keyifli bir mola.

İddialı değilim. Sadece mutlu olduğum şeyi yapıyorum.

“I love taking photographs...

You see something, look through the viewfinder and capture that thing you see along with the emotions it stirs in you. And you get to share this with other people. So that moment of beauty is no longer exclusive to your mind and memory.

This process of sharing is pleasurable.

I used to just take photographs of places I traveled. But nowadays I travel for the sole purpose of taking photographs.

My favorites are photographs focused on everyday life.

I made many new friends thanks to photography and encountered many different opinions. I discovered many fine details of life that I was not previously aware of. Sometimes we just wish to push our daily routines aside and call for a “time-out.” And for me photography provides the most enjoyable form of time out from everyday activities.

I am not making any claims about being a great photographer. I am only doing what makes me happy.
