Mike Fuller (hawkeyefuller studio) captures the majority of his images in his native Eastern Iowa, along the banks of the Mississippi River. He prefers black and white images, but some shots are a must with color.

His passion for photography began as a child in the 1950’s when he received a Brownie Hawkeye for a birthday gift. Mike still believes that it is not the price of the camera that makes the shot. The photographer must have an “Eye” for what will look good on the wall.

Hawkeyefuller’s favorite subjects to capture include old buildings, wildlife, landscape, and just about anything in black and white.

Mike has only been a contact of mine for about five weeks, but I have explored his photostream fully, and learned a great deal from him. He has a great eye for old buildings and outdoor photography, and his enjoyment of Iowa nature shine through in his photography.
