Harpy-Eagle is one of my favorite and most valued flickr contacts. He has taken so many wonderful natural history photographs his photostream is a virtual field guide for many North American species, ranging from humble micromoths and planthoppers to some of most charismatic mammal and bird species on the continent. I hope one day to see at least half of what he has photographed Though he focuses more on the natural history aspects of his subjects, many photographs show a real aristic flair and are a joy to look at. He also is unfailingly courteous and helpful in helping me identify many of the birds and especially insects that I've posted. Without him quite a few would be either unidentified or misidentified and for that I thank him. I look forward to I hope years to come of his outstanding natural history photography, hopefully one day including hundreds of shots from other continents. I would love to see what he could do in say with the many wonderful animals of Africa or South America.
