HavaHug Havanese is a Michigan breeder of happy, healthy, AKC havanese puppies, including genetically recessive chocolate havanese! As responsible breeders, this is a labor of love. Havanese are the original dogs of cuban aristocrats and were nearly lost after the Cuban revolution. In the 1970's there were only 11 in the U.S. gene pool! What a loss this would have been!

This toy breed is highly intelligent, sweet, playful, charming, non-shedding, hypo-allergenic and non-yappy! They get along great with other pets and are sturdy enough for childsplay. Havanese are perfect for apartment as well as rural living! With their fluffy coats, as soft as silk, they are exquisite lap dogs and couch cuddlers.
