Let the good times roll

While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see.

My wife and I live and work in Southern California. I recommend viewing my Flickr photographs on Fluidr.

Three thing interest me right now 1) sunflare 2) bokeh and 3) the VSCO film look.

I began photography with a Pentax ZE-30. My first digital camera was a Canon G5 until I upgraded in August 2007 to a Canon 30D. I use either Canon's EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS or EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM. In low light, the EF 50mm f/1.8 II works great.

For post processing I use Lightroom.
