I'm not an amateur, and I'm certainly no professional. I have no formal artistic training (photography or otherwise*), but I've been fortunate to work closely with some excellent photojournalists. Bottom line, I'm just a dude who likes to take pictures -- nothing more, nothing less. It makes me happy. I take more than 90-percent of my photos with a simple point-and-shoot.

If you take a look at my favorites, you'll see that I tend to enjoy a number of different photo styles and subjects. You'll also notice I'm a sucker for bold color, puppy dogs and all things geek.**
