Curiosity is my motor, playing with technology, geekstuff addict, born some hundred years early............;-)

I started Photography to meet a girl in a darkroom at a photocourse in my school, on my first day in the course it ended up forgetting about her because of the fascination BW and color enlarging threw on me.

After some art classes + art history I became a professional studio and advertising photographer drifting into computing and prepress around 1990. was one of the early internet addicts, sysop on the german adobe compuserve forum, started prof. digital photography 1993, founded a company dealing with colormanagement and are now running several interests in // ,Ceo of HCam.de/Hartblei.de, Color and Workflow consultant in Munich, holder of 2 patents regarding color calibration of digital cameras and latest addition: Apple Aperture certified Trainer (what did I do before aperture? I cannot remember... !)

Since 2012 I am regularly writing a column and articles about Photography in German Photomagazine "DIGIT!".
