Why I follow photography as a hobby?

I follow photography to take my mind off from the humdrum of daily life. Photography is relaxing and refreshing. There is great joy in creating images and then going through them. I think photography broadens my perspective.

What I want to do?

I want to create images that bring out the beauty in the ordinary. I want to go after great light, rather than great subjects. Backlight and dramatic light in music concerts or rock concerts are two examples. I want to shoot with the confidence and the thought that I am making a great image, rather than expecting the image to turn out great by itself, which never happens anyways !

I don't want to fall in the trap of Facebook likes and comments, rather I want to learn and improve with regular practice.

Criticism and suggestions to help me improve are welcome.
