I first picked up a camera when I rather randomly decided to do GCSE Photography alongside my A level in Physics and Level 3 Diploma in Engineering. I quickly discovered I had a bit of an eye for photography and bought my first camera, a Canon 50D. It was around this point my Physics totally fell by the wayside as my photography snowballed. It quickly became apparent my coursework was of the standard to be used in not just GCSE but AS Level. Within a year of picking up a camera I had gained a B at AS Level.

 

I continued my Photography to A Level in 2012/2013 and used a fair amount of the photos on my Flickr account in my coursework. With help from several individuals, I managed to gain access to places, photos and opportunities that were immeasurably valuable and with this I got an A* at A Level. Without this aforementioned help I doubt I would have got the result I did and I am very grateful to those generous few.

 

During my summer break in 2013, I was kindly recommended for a job at IWM Duxford and this has opened a lot of exiting new avenues for me to explore.
