Today the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion-Harrisburg oversees the recruiting mission of 48 Regular Army stations and predominately fills two Army Reserve Commands.

The battalion is divided into seven companies covering 51 of the 67 counties in Pennsylvania or approximately 34,705 square miles.

The companies are centered on Carlisle, Harrisburg, State College, Greensburg, Pittsburgh, Clarion and LeHigh Valley.
